Due to the poor weather forecast I am moving this ride by one day to Thursday 12th September. Still meet @ 10.15 AM, Poulton-Le-Fylde Railway Station, Breck Road, FY6 7AA

A ride from Poulton-Le-Fylde (does that sound exotic ?) via Skippool Creek to the Wyre. Up the estuary to Fleetwood for coffee. I must try to check the state of tide, to see if the marina lock gates are crossable. Around the coast to Blackpool for lunch. Back via Stanley Park and past the Zoo (if we don’t get lost) to P-L-F

Meet at the Poulton-Le-Fylde Rail Station (for those coming via rail) at 10.15AM for a 10.30AM departure. If your train is not on time etc etc please let me know. Last time, those of us who drove managed to park for free in the surrounding residential streets, please park with consideration for the residents. 

A level-ish 25 miles. Bring waterproofs etc as it WILL be colder than it has been, it still could be wet and windy or any combination. If the weather is very poor we may still alter our plans but we are the rough stuff. We can seek shelter anywhere.

High-Vis and helmets are always good. The early part of the ride to Skippool Creek and through some of Fleetwood & Blackpool etc share some busy roads. But PPE can be needed anywhere on a bike. we will hopefully be back to P-L-F by 1600hrs.
