PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO OUR EVENING MEAL PLANS.
The Autumn Meet and Committee Meeting will take place over the weekend of the 27th & 28th Sept 2024. Some are staying at Cholderton YHA which is approx 8 miles from Stonehenge !  Staying for the nights of the Friday 27th and Saturday 28th September. The committee meeting will take place for perhaps an hour at 5.00 PM on the Saturday at the hostel. All members are welcome to attend and speak but only committee members may vote. There will be a very brief EGM after the committee meeting, where all members may vote.

Do mention if you are an International Hosteling Member (YHA or SYHA etc) as you will get a discount.
We will self cater for breakfast. I will bring some tea, coffee, sugar, bread and jam etc.  For our evening meal on the Saturday, I have discovered that the local Crown Inn in Cholderton is closed that weekend. So I have now booked for 10 of us at The Malet Inn, in Newton Tony, approx 2.5 miles by road from the hostel. On the Friday night we will probably be ordering in to the hostel (sort of self catering) going into Amesbury for a curry. 
I know of 9 peoples coming so far. Please let me know by email if you are extra to this and intending to come. That will allow me to book extra space. You may of course want to self cater etc both evenings, your choice.

For those of us who get there early on the Friday, we might be able to park at the hostel and go for a short ride in the afternoon. But the hostel is also the site of A Rare Breeds Farm and so parking may not be guaranteed. If the weather forecast is good, I might see if I can stay another night.
