Starting form the car park in the centrer of Silsden, this ride uses the road, which takes no prisoners, to climb to Rombalds Moor and already extensive views, you'll realise just how much you've climbed already The route stays relatively high with some fun sections and one not steep but leg sapping climb before plunging down to Skipton over quite 'interesting' ground to find some snacks. There are many ways to return to the start but if you're legs (like mine) have had enough and run up the white flag then the canal towpath will lead you back to the begiining. |
