| Cefn-brith Bunkhouse Tyddyn Bychan to Denbigh and back | ||||||||||||||||||||
|
This is a 60 km ride along quiet roads, lanes and, depending on what you choose from the map re paths and tracks, the inevitable rough-stuff. Depending on the weather and choice not too difficult, some steep climbs and a good choice of pubs/tearooms/restaurants in Denbigh. Don't forget to have a look at the Ring Cairn on the shores of Llyn Brenig dating from ca. 2000 BC. EXTRA INFO RE THE WAYFARER-STONE ROUTE IN THIS NORTH-WALES SECTION: this is a 91 km route, can be strenuous in places depending on the weather, the route eastwards from the Wayfarer Stone is rideable in good weather but due to 4X4 damage and stones/mud can be a real boneshaker/nuissance in bad weather. It's a long ride but very rewarding, be prepared. |
