Depending on the weather this 53 km route can be strenuous, following parts of the Offa's Dyke Path, climbing the Black Hill south of Craswall, passing Capel-Y-Ffinn and the Gospel Pass. Starting and finishing in Hay-on- Wye. You'll definitely get a good idea about these parts of Wales and it's perhaps a good idea to read Bruce Chatwin's 'On the Black Hill' before starting out. |
