This 70 km route includes some steep climbs, and also the (sometimes long & steep) Porlock Toll Road (unless you do it the other way round: long and nice descent). Mind the walkers on some short parts of the Coastal Path. The bit along the sea near Porlock can be tiresome but is very scenic. Food & drinks at Minehead, Porlock, Oare, Exford and Dunster. I did this route during the 2014 RSF Easter Meet at Dunster, beautiful morning, very wet afternoon. Still highly enjoyable all the way through, especially when there's a warm hotel room waiting for you... |
