RSF - The Off Road Cycling Club

This 32 mile Home Counties ride starts just north of High Ongar. It's a mix of quiet country lanes, paths and ways, taking in characteristic parts of south-east England (see the picture, taken south of Great Dunmow). Mind you that some parts of this route along paths and ways, e.g. the Essex Way north-east of Ongar and the Three Forests Way north of Hatfield Broad Oak and further to the south of this place can be somewhat muddy in wet weather. On the whole it makes a lovely day out in the country. Best place to enjoy a good lunch is Scrumptious at 1 Market Place Great Dunmow (mind you that Sunday opening may be subject to change, see als www.scrumptioustearooms.co.uk), you need to leave this triangle route for this lunch venue north of High Roding.
