A new way to ride old tracks: Up where we normally have gone down and down etc etc.. From Uppermill to Hartshead Pike then down. down, down to the Medlock Valley for lunch at Daisy Nook Garden Centre. Then up, up, up etc through Alexandra Park Oldham, over Glodwick Lows (not really very low and pronounced Glodick!) along the Medlock to Lees then Waterhead and then along Waterworks Road into Strinesdale Country park following the Medlock nearly to its source then a quick way back for a brew in the Lime Kiln, Uppermill. |
