Starting from the small car parks in Cowpe Road, Waterfoot this loop takes in some of the well known Mary Townley loop. Extensive views on the moorland crossings and some nice downhill sections. One big road climb on the return leg will warm you up nicely, sit and enjoy the scenery at the top and contemplate Flower Scar Road leading up to the wind turbines, yes that's where you're heading! Head down, low gear and choose your line well. Can you make it to the top in one go? |
