You may not find a route or trail that you are searching for in our library but that's probably because we've not added it yet or it simply doesn't exist as a Gpx file yet. You may find what you need in the Routes Archive at the foot of the page.

For 'the perfect loop' you should climb up from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, but to save yourself about 1,500' of vertical dirt road take the bicycle-carrying train up to Wengen and start from there. Leaving the station follow the red "bike" signs out of town on the Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg Trail, just follow the railway track. Initially a paved road but soon it turns into dirt very quickly. A 44 km route from Camprodon to Ribes de Freser in the Catalan Pyrenees that uses the Cami de Fontlletera. The start and end sections are on sealed roads but there is 20 odd km of rough-stuff: gravel veering into stones/rocks. I rode it with 700x37 tyres and, with careful selection of the lines I took, coped fine. Camprodon and Ribes de Freser are at 900 m altitude, the Cami de Fontlletera tops out at just over 2000 m (Collet de la Gralla). Plenty of drinking / eating options in the ... |
