Born in Liverpool on New Years Day 1915, Bert Williams was one of the ''The First Ninety'' referring to the first members of the RSF eventually being awarded Honorary Life Membership. He held a number of posts within the Fellowship, including, President (1986-91), Vice-President (1963), Journal Editor (1955-62), he also designed the RSF badge that we still use to this day.
An album of Bert's photographs was recently loaned to the club by Bert's son who drove all the way from Liverpool just to hand the album over. Geoff Smith has kindly scanned and uploaded it to Flickr. It contains some familiar and some not so familiar names and places and things, remember the Morris Marina?.
